Are pistachios good for you? When dieting, nuts in general are usually a bad idea for weight loss simply because they're so calorie-rich. That said, pistachios are one of the lowest calorie and lowest fat nuts, much lower than almonds, macadamia, and Brazil nuts. Pistachios also have a fairly high amount of antioxidant content.
