Buying and remembering to eat fresh fruits before they go bad isn't always easy for a busy person. Fresh apples do last quite a long time when refrigerated but if you want something even less perishable, buy some dried apples for a nutritious snack. Try to get the least processed variety, as typically more processing results in more antioxidants being destroyed. The sample tested here was purchased in Italy.
